Healthy Child Makes A Happy Home:)

This post is a part of an IndiBlogger Contest-
#ImmuneIndia.  https://www.liveveda.com/daburchyawanprash/.

I have grown up seeing and believing that A child is a Parent's Everything. From ever since i can recollect,my parents have made every effort, monetary , physical or mental to fulfill my wishes and demand. Every childhood picture I see, or the beautiful videos that my parents have documented , makes me realise, how much my happiness meant to my parents.

I am so glad to be from a family where Indian Values and traditions are of utmost importance. Infact, I distinctly remember a few values that my parents inculcated in me and my sister. Washing hands thoroughly before a meal was a strict rule of the house , which today is a habit.

As a child, stories fascinated me to a great extent. Each day, my parents had to look up for new stories because repetitive stories would not interest me. I realise today, as I look back, that a lot of those stories were just an excuse to inculcate a few essential habits in us. A story that i recollect today, is of a girl Sanya and her pet dog. Leo was potrayed to be a strong dog who was Sanya's Best friend. Sanya and her pet Leo would eat a tablespoon of Dabur Chawanprash everyday. One day Sanya and Leo were to visit her nanny in a far off village. The roads were desserted. A wolf tried to attack them on the way. But Sanya was brave because she was a Dabur Girl. She gave the wolf a tough fight and eventually managed to escape him.

This story would inspire me to such an extent that i wanted to be Sanya! Each day, first thing in the morning, i Would ask my mother to give me a tablespoon of Chawanprash so i would be as strong as Sanya.

Today,I have come to realise that consuming the chawanprash was so important for my immunity.I have grown up as a happy ,healthy child. Our house was always so full of energy and positivity. Healthy Children is what parents work towards at all times.Even as grown ups, we are healthy and that gives us the liberty and time to choose to do what we really want to do.

Poor health leads to multiple issues. For many families that cannot afford medication,Dabur Chawanprash is a safe, quick and affordable solution .And in a country like India, so rich in traditions where the solution to immuntiy is so easy, the struggle is not worthwhile. We should be thankful to Dabur for documenting the Indian Veds and coming up with a formulation like Chawanprash which can keep the children of a family healthy at little time ,cost and effort.

Are you giving your children Dabur Chawanprash? Because after all , a Healthy Child is a Happy Home! :)

Private India!

This review is a part of the biggest Book Review Program for Indian Bloggers. Participate now to get free books!

Well, particularly only three types of books entice me, namely fashion, humour and mysteries! ( Exceptions to these are very few ) So when I actually feel like distressing, I am in search of either of these! On such book is Private India ( James Patterson and Ashwin Sanghi collaboration ) I was pretty excited to read this ( Even though it is just about 450 pages and 116 chapters, it can keep you hooked on to it!)
The story starts typically, with a murder of a Thai Doctor whose body is surrounded by certain objects. Enter, Santosh Wagh, head-Private India ( The Indian Branch of Private Worldwide- headed by Jack Morgan,  who is also a part of the book). The Police comes, but allow Private India to takeover the case on the condition that they get the credit if the case is solved!( Shows the stereotypical nature of Police!) This murder is followed by a series of other murders, specifically women victims only ( Gets you thinking) and each of the victim found with a yellow scarf and certain objects ( Gets you thinking even harder!)
Other characters in the book include Nisha ( right hand of Wagh), Mubeen a medical expert,Hari a technocrat,Mumbai's Underworld Don, politicians, celebrities and Pakistan's ISI as well! The main plot is embedded with another plot! (makes for a good mystery!)
Private India is essentially a part of the Private Series by James Patterson(Which I would like to read) and he tries to add Indian touch to the story, intricately giving details of the city of Mumbai (I can so relate to it and it is something I love about this book as I can visualise the story even better!)
Go ahead, read it to find out whether or not Private India could link the murders and solve the case!

Quick Bourjois Service! Review!

Hi lovelies!

Okay, so everytime I actually feel like changing my nail paint, its either too late at night or its lunch time! And these nail paints take like forever to dry!
So sometimes I really wish like I could change that, but the Fact is, I cant!
And to top the drying time, all that pain of removing your polish, finding cotton, discovering that your acetone was over, spoiling your perfectly painted nail to remove another nail's paint just adds up to my boredom!
Result, I don't change my nail paint for days together!  But recently (I think Fairy Godmother listed to me) and I saw this beauty on my cousin's dressing table- Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover. Bliss.
Next thing I do, go search for it in India (She got it from Paris)

PRODUCT: Bourjois Majic Nail Polish Remover

Price in India: INR 800

What is it? : It is an acetone free nail paint remover. No cotton needed! It comes in a small tub with sponge where you dip your finger, twist it, and you are done! The one I have is Red fruit and Vanilla and it smells like bliss.

MY EXPERIENCE: I love,LOVE nail paints! So the entire concept of this product is absolutely super.Bourjois claims 1 second removal per nail which is pretty much true( except Glitter)
The main avantage is that it is acetone free and has Almond oil! You can actually feel the oil on your fingers when you are done twisting( Which is not a bad thing, it's very mild, yet effective!) I love the mild fragrance that it leaves behind as well! The only con is the price! It's quite heavy on the pocket, but you save on cotton and acetone for quite sometime!(SA at the  counter claims it will last a year or more!Let's see!) Another worthy mention is that it does remove glitter nail paint quite nicely!( less effort than otherwise)

What I like:
1. Effectively removes nail paint
2. Acetone free.
3.Amazing fragrance.
4.Almond oil is nourishing
5. Amazing Concept! Saves a lot of time!

What I don't like:
1. Very pricey.
2.Glitter particles tend to adhere to the sponge while removal ing glitter!

Overall: 4.5/5 Go ahead, buy it!

P.S: I had been away from the blog for quite a while and now I will make up for it by some amazing offers for the lovelies who follow the blog! Stay tuned!:)
